Malaysia Airlines is strengthening its commitment to the UK and European markets at World Travel Market (WTM) London 2026, marking its first dedicated standalone exhibition at the event and largest exhibition presence outside of Malaysia. The airline also formalised new partnerships with Yonder and Klarna to enhance customer loyalty and payment flexibility for UK travellers.
Spanning 397.5 square metres across two levels, the stand was officially opened on the first day of WTM London by Bryan Foong, Chief Executive Officer of Airline Business and Dersenish Aresandiran, Chief Commercial Officer of Airline Business from Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) during a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The airline also welcomed His Excellency Dato’ Indera Dr. Azfar Mohamad Mustafar, High Commissioner of Malaysia to the United Kingdom, who visited the stand to experience the airline’s showcase.
Alongside its showcase at WTM London, Malaysia Airlines is strengthening its commercial offering through two new partnerships focused on customer engagement and booking experience.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Yonder establishes a strategic framework for Yonder to become an official UK partner of Enrich, the airline’s award-winning travel and lifestyle loyalty programme. The partnership will enable Yonder members to convert Yonder Points into Enrich Points, driving loyalty and offering greater value for customers.
Meanwhile, the MoU with Klarna aims to introduce greater payment flexibility for UK customers booking through the official Malaysia Airlines website, including planned Buy Now, Pay Later options. Through this collaboration, travellers can have more choice in how they pay for their journeys while supporting a more convenient digital booking experience.
Bryan Foong, Chief Executive Officer of Airline Business from MAG said, “The UK and Europe remain strategically important markets for Malaysia Airlines, and WTM London provides a valuable platform to deepen our industry relationships and strengthen our presence in the region. Our stand brings Malaysian Hospitality to life, giving visitors a closer look at the products and service that define the Malaysia Airlines experience. Alongside this, our collaborations with Yonder and Klarna introduce new ways for customers to engage with us and offer greater flexibility when booking their journeys. Together, these initiatives reinforce our commitment to delivering value and making Malaysia Airlines more accessible to travellers across the region.”
The stand offers visitors a closer look at Malaysia Airlines’ onboard experience, bringing together its products, service and heritage. Cabin crew will demonstrate in-flight amenities, while visitors can explore seat displays featuring the A350 Business Suite, A350 Business Class, A330neo Business Class and A330neo Economy Class. A virtual reality pod also offers an immersive tour of the A330neo cabin.
Dedicated zones highlight the airline’s heritage and global sports partnerships with Manchester United and the Mumbai Indians. Visitors can enjoy an AI-powered photo booth, while selected VIP guests will receive a limited-edition, personalised batik-inspired luggage tag. The invitation-only Malaysia Airlines Lounge on the upper deck provides a setting for business meetings and discussions with travel industry partners.
