The Baltimore Museum of Art has announced the acquisition of approximately 118 artworks over the past six months. The new additions to its collection—purchases, gifts, and promised gifts—span periods, cultures, and mediums, strengthening the BMA’s holdings of art from around the globe as well as work by Baltimore-area artists. Marriott is pushing group sales teams at hotels it manages in the U.S. and Canada to close a “$1.55 billion in group revenue gap to goal for 2027,” according to internal material seen by Skift.
