Amazing Evolution, a Portuguese independent hotel management company, has secured five prestigious international accolades at the 2026 World Travel Awards.
The awards named Amazing Evolution as Europe’s Leading Boutique Hotel Operator 2026 and Europe’s Leading Hotel Management Company 2026.
Margarida Almeida, CEO and Founder commented on Amazing Evolutions success: “Receiving these two awards, Europe’s Leading Boutique Hotel Operator 2026 and Europe’s Leading Hotel Management Company 2026, is a recognition that naturally makes us very proud, particularly as it comes at a time of strong growth for Amazing Evolution. These two distinctions recognise not only what we do, but how we do it: with a very close understanding of each project, respecting its identity and the destination in which it is located, while never losing sight of operational excellence and the personalised experience we provide to our guests.
“More than an award for Amazing Evolution, this is an award for our teams, who turn strategy into hospitality every day and are truly the driving force behind this company. Fourteen years ago, we started with the belief that it was possible to do things differently and create value through independent, hands-on and demanding hotel management.
“These two international recognitions tell us that we are continuing on the right path, while giving us an even greater sense of responsibility for what comes next.”
Three of the hotels managed by Amazing Evolution also took home European honours.
1908 Lisboa Hotel was named Europe’s Leading Design Hotel.
The Lisbon based four-star boutique hotel is set in a beautifully restored Art Nouveau building with a distinctive blend of historic architecture, contemporary design and unique art throughout the space.
Estoril Vintage Hotel won Europe’s Leading Hotel, celebrating its distinctive character and exceptional hospitality. Set in a beautiful 1920s palace overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on Portugal’s Estoril coast, the intimate 15-bedroom hotel combines historic grandeur with sweeping sea views and a tranquil setting close to beaches, golf courses and coastal promenades.
White Shell Beach Villas was recognised as Europe’s Leading Villa Resort. Located in Porches in the Algarve, just 400 metres from the picturesque Senhora da Rocha beach, the sustainable eco-resort offers its guests a relaxed villa escape surrounded by the region’s dramatic nature and scenic beaches.
Since 2018, Amazing Evolution has received 26 World Travel Awards accolades, reflecting its continued commitment to creating distinctive hospitality experiences and delivering results for hotel owners and investors. Founded in 2012, and with a portfolio of more than 20 hotels and projects, Amazing Evolution continues to champion the individuality of each property whilst inspiring and delighting guests with tailor made experiences.
