The Texas-based outdoor brand is bringing its world to the Spanish market. On July 2, Yeti will cross the Atlantic to open its first store in Barcelona, located at 51 Carrer Pontevedra in the Barceloneta neighborhood, marking its first foray into retail in Europe.
The store will offer an immersive experience into the world of the outdoor apparel and gear brand, with a focus on premium technical gear for outdoor activities. The space will feature its iconic “Hard Coolers,” the Rambler collection of bottles, cups, and thermoses, as well as technical bags, camping gear, outdoor furniture, and its line of clothing and accessories- all designed with a special focus on durability and functionality.
Beyond the retail offering, the space will feature the “Slow West” exhibition by artist Dani Vergés, with the aim of transforming the store into a meeting point for retail, art, and outdoor culture. Specifically, the exhibition explores the imagery of the American West through illustrations that address themes characteristic of the American brand, such as the spirit of exploration and freedom.
Founded in 2006 in Austin, Texas, by brothers Roy and Ryan Seiders, the brand currently operates more than 25 company-owned stores in its home market. The opening in Barcelona marks Yeti’s second international location, joining its store in the Canadian city of Calgary.
