Fragrance brand Amouage has opened a new store in Los Angeles, inside the city’s prestigious Beverly Hills district, marking the Omani brand’s first store on the West Coast.
Dubbed “The Wadi”, the new Los Angeles flagship “brings a fragment of the Sultanate’s landscapes, light, and spirit to Los Angeles,” according to the luxury scent brand.
Conceived by Amouage chief creative officer Renaud Salmon in collaboration with Paris design agency, Héroïne, the new store draws inspiration from the dramatic canyons (“wadis”) of its native Oman, which are sculpted over millennia by water.
“Reimagined in the heart of Los Angeles, they become the setting for a new kind of olfactory journey,” said the brand, in talking about the wadis’s impact on the store design.
Amouage celebrated the opening of its new boutique in Beverly Hills, with a private event at the Goldstein Residence on Thursday.
The Los Angeles Amouage store opening takes the fine perfumery brand’s U.S. store count to four, with a location in New York, New Jersey, and Houston, respectively.
In early 2025, beauty giant L’Oréal confirmed that it had acquired a stake in Amouage, becoming a long-term minority investor.
