Committed to connecting South Florida with the world, Avianca announced that starting December 17, 2026, it will permanently resume its nonstop service between Miami and Cali.
Previously offered as a seasonal service, the route will now become a permanent part of Avianca’s network, operating year-round. Daily flights will be available from Dec. 17, 2026, through Jan. 31, 2027, coinciding with the peak travel season. Beginning Feb. 1, 2027, the route will operate four times per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
“The permanent addition of the Miami-Cali route strengthens our network between the United States and Colombia, expanding connectivity options for thousands of travelers flying between the two countries. With this service, we continue to reinforce our presence in strategic markets while supporting the growth of tourism, business and regional development,” said Rolando Damas, Avianca’s director of sales for North America.
In addition to nonstop connectivity between the two cities, travelers on this route will have access to Avianca’s Business Class Americas offering, available on the airline’s flights throughout the Americas. This experience provides enhanced benefits from the start of the journey, including priority airport services, access to Avianca and Star Alliance lounges where available, increased baggage allowance and Lifemiles accrual. On board, passengers can enjoy seats in the front rows of the aircraft and service tailored to the flight’s duration, offering a more comfortable and personalized travel experience.
Tickets for this route are now available for purchase through avianca.com, the Avianca mobile app, physical sales locations, travel agencies and the airline’s Contact Center.
