Groupe Printemps appoints Antony Rodrigues as chief administrative and financial officer

The Printemps Group will be counting on a new hand to steer its financial strategy. The group’s new chief administrative and financial officer knows the company’s challenges inside out. Since 2019, Antony Rodrigues has served as director of management control at the company, which oversees the operations of the department store network and Citadium.

From June 1, he will succeed Eric Lovisolo, who has held the position since 2008 and is retiring. The Printemps Supervisory Board said in a press release: “Against a backdrop of retail transformation and high demands in terms of performance and agility, we have every confidence in Antony’s ability to support the Printemps Group in its next steps. His appointment is in line with our desire to constantly adapt the Printemps Group to changes in our market, while relying on committed in-house talent.”

The executive, who began his career at Sephora in 2007 before moving to Celio, will assume his responsibilities at a turbulent time for the Printemps Group. While the group opened a new store in New York last year, its business in France has in recent years been weighed down by significant debt. In April, it announced a plan to reduce headcount and close its Rennes store. Negotiations on this plan are still ongoing.

The situation is all the more complex given that the group has yet to find a successor to Marc Bellaiche, its former CEO, who stepped down in September 2025. For now, management is overseen by an Executive Committee and a Supervisory Board. The group, which does not disclose its results, reports nearly 3,000 employees and operates 20 Printemps stores in France, including three affiliated stores, as well as stores in Doha and New York and an e-commerce site. It also operates the Citadium brand with eight stores (Citadium Champs-Élysées has just closed, with its teams moving to the Caumartin flagship) and its e-commerce site, as well as the Place des Tendances and Made In Design platforms.
