Louis Vuitton has opened a new store at Oakridge Park in Vancouver, further expanding the luxury house’s retail footprint in Canada.
The new boutique marks Louis Vuitton’s 11th location in Canada and offers the full Louis Vuitton universe across men’s and women’s categories, including leather goods, ready-to-wear, footwear, accessories, watches, fine jewelry and fragrance.
Designed to reflect both the House’s signature aesthetic and the architecture of the Oakridge Park development, the storefront features a stone façade with oversized floral pattern cut into the stone slabs, large glass openings and metal screening elements that offer views into the boutique from the exterior.
Inside, the layout divides the store into dedicated men’s and women’s spaces, with the men’s travel universe positioned on one side and the women’s collections, watches and jewelry showcased on the other.
The boutique also incorporates a strong art and design component, featuring curated works by artists including Isadora Capraro, Jean Pierre Hirel and Eric Valli, alongside locally sourced furniture created by Vancouver-based designer Jay Miron. Newly commissioned installations by abstract painter Daniel Klewer and Vancouver design studio Origins further connect the store to the city.
The product assortment was selected to reflect Vancouver’s local lifestyle, combining classic Louis Vuitton handbags and luggage with the latest seasonal ready-to-wear collections. The store opens with recent women’s collections designed by Nicolas Ghesquière and men’s collections under Pharrell Williams, including Women’s Resort and Pre Fall and Men’s Pre Fall.
Oakridge Park is a new shopping centre in Vancouver, which opened this spring. Other luxury houses joining Louis Vuitton at Oakridge Park include Loewe, Loro Piana, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Thom Browne, and Acne Studios, among others.
In total, Oakridge Park is home to over 100 premium brands across 650,000 square feet. Beyond retail, the 28-acre development also features residential towers, office space, a community centre, Vancouver’s largest West Side library, a nine-acre park, and a one-kilometre running loop.
