Paris is once again preparing to welcome MakeUp in Paris. On June 17 and 18, the trade show will take place at the Carrousel du Louvre, located at 99 Rue de Rivoli, Paris’s 1st arrondissement. Organised by Infopro Digital Trade Shows, the event is conceived as a hub for business and inspiration exclusively for cosmetics professionals, open to registered attendees.
Over two days, more than 150 international exhibitors (formulators, ingredient manufacturers, contract manufacturers and packaging designers) will present their latest technological, scientific and sustainable innovations to over 4,500 decision-makers from around the world. Beyond its subcontracting base, the trade show has become the gathering place for the industry’s most prestigious brands and most influential distributors.
Cosmetics heavyweights in strong attendance
For the long-established giants and major beauty groups, MakeUp in Paris remains an opportunity to preview scientific advances and plan their launches for the years ahead. Among them, industry leaders such as L’Oréal, Chanel, Dior, Guerlain, Lancôme, Clarins, Sisley and Estée Lauder will be scouring the aisles in search of distinctive active ingredients, hybrid textures and eco-designed solutions. Asian powerhouse Shiseido will also enrich these discussions with its technological vision.
The show will also bring together renowned brands in the world of artistic and professional make-up, such as Make Up For Ever, MAC, NARS and Charlotte Tilbury. At the same time, specialists in skincare, dermo-cosmetics and olfactory lifestyle will be represented by iconic brands such as Nuxe, Payot, Filorga and Diptyque, all eager to incorporate or showcase the latest advances in natural ingredients and biotechnology.
The creative agility of independent brands
Alongside these established players, independent brands will bring a breath of fresh air, commitment and responsiveness essential to the market’s renewal. In the world of clean beauty and holistic cosmetics, pioneers Respire, Absolution and Patyka, along with the global beauty brand Aime, will focus on sourcing ingredients that are increasingly respectful of both health and the planet. Les Filles en Rouje, Horace and Typology will also be there, along with Victoria Beckham Beauty, Martine Cosmetics, Merci Handy, Toofruit and Namaki.

To complete the value chain, major players in physical and digital retail will be out in force at the show. Leading names in selective perfumery and retail, such as Sephora, Marionnaud, Nocibé and Douglas, will be on hand to identify the exclusive products that will bring their shelves to life in the coming months. Alongside them, Galeries Lafayette and Monoprix will refine their role as curators of emerging brands.
Celebration of the IT Awards
The evolution of retail also involves the rise of on-the-go lifestyles and the digitalisation of consumer habits. Lagardère Travel Retail will closely examine practical and compact formats tailored to modern travellers. But one of the major highlights of this edition will undoubtedly be the active presence of TikTok Shop, which underscores the importance of digital visibility in formulation and packaging strategies, pushing brands to design highly visual and instantly desirable products.
Over these two days, innovation will also be celebrated through the renowned IT Awards (Innovations & Trends Awards), a competition that will recognise the most revolutionary concepts in formulation, accessories or packaging from among more than 100 entries reviewed by a jury of international experts.
Finally, the trade show will offer a rich programme of 15 conferences centred on discussions about the contribution of artificial intelligence to cosmetic research and development, the rollout of personalised dermo-cosmetics, the new maps of influence in the global beauty industry (C-Beauty, French Beauty), as well as the concept of ‘holistic longevity’, which marks the shift from traditional anti-ageing towards a comprehensive approach to the skin’s biological resilience.
