Six Senses The Palm, Dubai is set to open on Monday, November 23 on the West Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, marking the brand’s debut in the United Arab Emirates in one of the city’s most recognizable settings.
Set between the Arabian Gulf and Dubai’s skyline, the beachfront resort comprises 61 suites and 172 private residences. Wellness is at the heart of Six Senses Dubai, with an extensive wellness offering within the 5,500-square-meter Six Senses Spa and Longevity Clinic, alongside a culinary offering guided by the ethos of Eat With Six Senses, celebrating regional, seasonal produce and mindful preparation.
Neil Palmer, Six Senses Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Whether it’s an early morning swim or an unhurried meal, at Six Senses The Palm, Dubai, these moments come naturally, without losing touch with the energy of the city. As our first property in the UAE, this is an important chapter for Six Senses, bringing our approach to emotional hospitality to The Palm in a way that feels unmistakably part of its surroundings.”

Balance, Escape, Community
Dubai is a city where people arrive from all over the world, often making a home far from where they began. Six Senses takes that sense of movement and belonging as its starting point.
At Six Senses The Palm, Dubai, balance is found in the interplay of movement and relaxation. A game of padel might lead to an ice bath and sauna ritual, while social gatherings make good food and time together as much a part of wellbeing as the spa. Escape might mean following 200,000 years of history into Mleiha’s desert landscape or a bakhoor workshop to explore the scents and rituals of Emirati culture. Community grows through the people who make the resort their home and those who come to visit.
Christian Gurtner, General Manager of Six Senses The Palm, Dubai, said: “Dubai has an extraordinary ability to bring people together, and we wanted the resort to feel like a natural part of that community. Guests can find space to pause by the water, while remaining closely connected to the energy and character of the city, with each detail contributing to a genuine sense of discovery. It is a privilege to open the first Six Senses in the UAE, and I am especially proud of the team we have brought together and the care they will bring to every stay. We look forward to welcoming guests and allowing them to experience the resort in their own way.”
From Coral to Contemporary
The LEED-certified architecture by SAOTA and interiors by Mitchell & Eades draw inspiration from coral reefs and the cultural character of the UAE, with organic forms and biophilic materials that blend into the landscape. The traditional majlis is reimagined for modern life, with welcoming shared gardens and quieter places to retreat, allowing guests and residents to move easily between company and privacy.
The details give the story its character: timber-framed ceilings inspired by traditional souks, lighting that recalls the pearls of the Gulf, and locally developed Datecrete, made using date pits, in the spa relaxation spaces. Across the property, commissioned artists and makers from the UAE bring regional craft into the interiors.
The Earth Lab offers a space for guests and locals to come together to learn how everyday actions can regenerate nature and to take part in meaningful actions that support Dubai’s wider sustainability goals.
Flora the Flamingo, the resort’s fun-loving sustainability mascot, brings a little personality to the sustainability program, with all mascot sales and 0.5 percent of resort revenue directed to a Regenerative Impact Fund supporting local environmental and social projects.

Wellness by the Water
The Six Senses Spa spans 5,500 square meters across indoor and outdoor spaces, with a vitality pool circuit, hammam, and Biohacking Recovery Lounge. The Alchemy Bar invites guests to create their own botanical blends, while the movement studio and fitness spaces offer intuitive ways to stay active.

As with all Six Senses, at The Palm, Dubai, the wellness offering combines ancient healing and traditional therapies with science-backed longevity approaches. A journey might begin with a Wellness Screening or a restorative treatment after a long flight. Nova Clinic complements the spa with advanced diagnostics and preventive care, while programs such as Sleep, Fitness, Yoga and Ayurveda offer a more personalized approach over several days. Treatments range from a traditional Moroccan hammam to the Traveler’s Hack, combining red-light therapy with compression and vibration therapy.
Dining from Day to After Dark
Dining is guided by the Eat With Six Senses philosophy, with menus that follow the seasons and dishes that can be shaped around how guests like to eat. LOÄM brings Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine to the table, taking its name from fertile soil, while LOÄM by the Pool & Beach Pavilion offers casual poolside dining and light dishes. ROKA brings contemporary Japanese robatayaki to the sky garden overlooking Palm Jumeirah and the Arabian Gulf. EVY combines a cosmopolitan lifestyle lounge with meeting spaces and a wellness bar, while TWØ12 is a New York-inspired speakeasy bar serving elevated mixology, jazz and funk. For those choosing to dine in the comfort of their suite, In-Room Dining is available around the clock.
Israr Liaqat, Group Chief Executive Officer of Select Group, said: “Bringing Six Senses to Dubai has been a long-held ambition, and today it becomes a reality. When we first partnered with Six Senses, we shared a belief that the way people live and travel was changing, and that wellness and a genuine connection to place would define the future of luxury. Six Senses The Palm, Dubai is the expression of that belief. The response from homeowners, who chose to make these residences their own long before the doors opened, shows how strongly that idea resonates in Dubai. This opening is also a beginning: with Six Senses Residences Dubai Marina, we look forward to shaping the next chapter of wellness-led living in the city.”
Six Senses The Palm, Dubai follows the recent openings of Six Senses AMAALA and Six Senses London earlier this year. Reservations for Six Senses The Palm, Dubai are now open. For stays, further information and inquiries, visit sixsenses.com or contact [email protected].
