VIVA Cruises has confirmed its autumn and Christmas 2026 onboard entertainment programme.
Headline acts include performances from ‘Inspire Extraordinary’ – a live contemporary circus-style show – combining visual performance and acrobatics designed to work within the intimate setting of VIVA’s river ships. The show – which was successfully trialled earlier this year – will perform on 42 selected departures aboard VIVA TWO, VIVA ENJOY, VIVA MOMENTS and VIVA ONE during October and November.
In addition, Christmas sailings will feature performances ranging from classical and contemporary music to French chansons – a traditional French music style – opera and vintage cabaret inspired by destinations.

*Seven-night ‘Rhine Christmas Cruise’, aboard VIVA MOMENTS, featuring French chansons and ‘Modern Strings’ – a performance by either a violinist or cellist – departing December 20 and sailing round-trip from Düsseldorf, visiting Rüdesheim, Ludwigshafen, Strasbourg, Mainz, Koblenz and Königswinter, with prices from £1,450pp.
*Six-night ‘Normandy’s Winter Wonderland’, aboard VIVA BEYOND, featuring ‘Vintage Cabaret’ – a classic French cabaret show – departing December 21 and sailing round-trip from Paris, visiting Poissy, Vernon, Rouen and Les Andelys, with prices from £1,450pp.
*Seven-night ‘Danube Christmas Tales’, aboard VIVA ENJOY, featuring ‘Afrodites’ – a female quintet focusing on classical instruments – departing December 21 from Regensburg and visiting Straubing, Passau, Linz, Melk and Bratislava before arriving in Vienna, with prices from £1,495pp.
*Seven-night ‘Christmas in the Heart of Europe’, aboard VIVA TWO, featuring ‘A Classical Trio’, departing December 21 and sailing round-trip from Passau, visiting Melk, Vienna, Budapest, Esztergom, Bratislava and Linz, with prices from £1,350pp.
*Six-night ‘Alsace’s Christmas Spirit’, aboard VIVA ONE, featuring ‘Modern Strings’, departing December 22 from Düsseldorf and visiting Koblenz, Speyer, Strasbourg and Rüdesheim, with prices from £1,395pp.
*Six-night ‘Xmas Bavaria’, aboard VIVA TIARA, featuring ‘Modern Strings’ and ‘Opera+’ – described as opera with a modern twist – departing December 22 from Frankfurt and visiting Wertheim, Würzburg, Bamberg and Nuremberg before arriving in Regensburg, with prices from £1,075pp.
