Brooks Running logged double-digit sales growth in the first quarter, thanks to strong demand across all regions and channels at the U.S. running brand.
The Seattle-based company reported sales growth of 23% for the quarter, with sales lifting 20% in North America, 30% in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and a whopping 136% in China.
In another highlight, Brooks’ apparel increased 33% year over year, driven by strong sales for the Dash collection, Chaser Padded Bra, and Convertible Bra.
“I’m incredibly proud of the progress we made in Q1 to launch new innovation into the market and introduce our brand to more runners around the world,” said Dan Sheridan, Brooks Running CEO.
“Across product, experiences, and how we show up for the sport globally, our teams are executing at the highest level and earning runners’ trust every day. Our record quarter is proof our long-term strategy is resonating.”
During the quarter, Brooks also restructured its leadership team, promoting Carson Caprara to chief product officer, and expanding the responsibilities of chief marketing officer Melanie Allen. The company also named Mike Billish, SVP and general manager of the Americas.
