Bold, expressive and grounded in the culture of soccer, the collection channels the power of sport and the possibility of design into seven street-ready silhouettes that offer unlimited opportunity for self-expression and encourage young athletes to make the game their own.
NIKE Inc and Megan Rapinoe have introduced the limited-edition Victory Collection, a seven-piece apparel capsule rooted in soccer culture and designed to encourage young athletes’ self-expression.
The range includes a terrace jersey, shorts, fleece crew, T-shirt, cropped track pant and bomber and track jackets, and launches October 27 on website and at select stores.
“The footprint of football culture is showing up everywhere in fashion, everywhere in the streets, and this collection meets that moment,” says Rapinoe. “Each piece gives players an opportunity to express themselves in a way that’s reflective of soccer outside of soccer.”
The Victory Collection advances themes from Rapinoe’s first Nike collection, with each piece featuring one of her favorite phrases, “Victory favors the bold,” reflecting her hallmark confidence and conviction as well as her commitment to moving the game forward for those who follow.
“I think that it takes a confidence, a boldness, a sense of creativity and adventure to do something different, which is part of the DNA of women’s sports,” says Rapinoe. “We bet on ourselves and know that we have something before everyone else sees it. That phrase, ‘Victory favors the bold,’ reminds athletes that if you’re not willing to put it all out there and lay it out on the line, what are you doing?”
At the center of the collection are a terrace jersey and short bearing an exclusive Victory FC crest, nodding to Rapinoe’s championship legacy and enduring influence on the game. Both pieces pair seamlessly with a soccer-inspired Studio Fleece crew, graphic T-shirt and cropped track pant that are equally at home on the pitch and in the streets.
Bomber and track jackets complete the collection, creating a coordinated wardrobe that underscores Nike and Rapinoe’s shared commitment to growing soccer and its culture across every dimension of play, from grassroots to elite, with the women’s game leading the way.
“Women’s sport is really special in the way that athletes show up: You’re getting an incredible product on the field, you’re going to be entertained, and there’s a sense of community and belonging,” says Rapinoe. “This collection encourages the next generation to show up, participate, be inspired and bring as many people as you can along with you.”
The Nike Victory Collection will be available beginning October 27 on Nike website and select retail locations.
